Rules for Running a Fan Page the Right Way

Fri Oct 09 2026 | 1 min read

A fan page celebrates a creator's work. Done well, it helps the creator and the page.

Say it is a fan page

Use the words fan page in the name or bio so nobody thinks it is official.

Credit the source

Name the creator and link to the full video.

Ask for permission

Tell the creator what you are doing and listen to the answer.

Remove content on request

If the creator asks you to take something down, do it quickly.

Keep it clean

Post only content that fits your own standards and the platform rules.

This is general advice, not legal advice.
